When I started my computer business many years ago, I spent a LOT of time and money learning the necessary skills and concepts I thought I needed to have a special niche to market to. Then one day a good friend suggested, "Warren, some day you are going to need to quit learning and start earning". That simple statement shook me to my senses and although I have NEVER quit learning, getting a push in the right direction was exactly what I needed at that time. I went on to run a successful business supplying computer software, hardware and networking to auto dealers for the next 35 years until I retired and sold the business to my head programmer who is still running it.
That even carried over to what I do online today. It's like piloting a ship to an exotic destination. You can spin the wheel all you want while it's tied up to the dock and you will never be any closer to reaching it until you get underway. Then you can make small course corrections with that same wheel that actually make a difference. Sure your ship was safer while it was moored, but that's not what it was designed for, was it?
See you all online!
